What a wonderful boy Devin is! Our hearts are about to burst for joy over his accomplishments. He is an inspiration to our extended family and the whole wide world. At birth he was afflicted by a rare syndrome known to have affected only nine other individuals.

As a result, he is small, underweight, and has to wear special hearing aids. Yet he is wiry, bright, lively, very energetic, and though at a distinct disadvantage, eagerly participates in games and sports with others. Devin is courageous, good humored, and helpful to his mother, his family and others. This web page has been created in his honor and as encouragement to all those less gifted in some ways but determined to make the most of their situation.
