Reminiscences of World War II

An account of experiences in training (first in an anti-aircraft batallion, then an infantry division) and in combat (France, Germany and Austria). High points include participation in three of the five most hard-fought, bloody campaigns in the European Theater of Operations: Alsace-Lorraine, The Rhineland and Central Europe. The most horrifying experience: liberating the victims of the six unspeakably horrible concentration camps ringing Landsberg, Germany.

I resolutely faced serious injury and death back then and am determined to fight right on, defending the best I can from discrimination, persecution and verbal and armed attack the amazingly gifted and resilient people who have given so much to the world—in religion, philosophy, music, the arts, science... no end of things, in addition to the Holy Scriptures and the Messiah, born a Jew in the only non-pagan place on earth where His mission could be performed.
